    That's a paid link in my sig, doesn't reflect my views. And no way Darwin is the most famous. I've barely heard of him and no nothing of his work.

    Fame is on how many people knows of the person. If I walked up to someone on the street in Ethiopia and asked someone, whether it be a 2 year old or a 90 year old "Who is Michael Jackson" nearly everyone would be able to tell me who he was and why he is famous and can probably even list off Billie Jean or Thriller or some of his songs. Same with Obama.

    Michael Jackson is definitely not the most famous...

    Especially now since he has passed on, half the new generation won't know of him.

    I'd have to say the most famous is Jesus Christ. That is because almost everyone knows who Jesus Christ is from every corner of the world.

    Are you telling me there are as many poor children in small undeveloped countries that know of Michael Jackson as much as they know Jesus Christ? No. I am not religious, but I think Jesus is the most famous by a long shot. After all, more than 95% of the population is religious, and at one point, nearly 100% was religious. There are only a handful of main religions and most of them have something that associates them with Jesus Christ in one way or another.

    The most famous person that is ALIVE today I would have to say is Queen of England.

    If famous is by how many people know about him then it'd be Jesus.

    Allah/Ram are not far off behind in the race I guess. Hindu nations know about Ram whether they believe or not and so is Allah in the nations where Islam is predominantly followed.
