Who do you suggest me to go with for a Merchant?

I am located in Canada, and do not wanna deal with ELAVON or MONERIS.

Any other companies you may suggest me?

I have an online business, so I do not need but a virtual terminal to charge client's orders.

Let me know what your experience and suggestions are ;)

    Regards,

Yes - PM me for details but I know a guy in Maryland who runs the #1 fastest MasterCard processing payment processing company and they're the #2 largest payment process based on merchant locations. Literally, they process over 1.4 bil a year. Looking forward for the email.

You best choice should be Authorize.Net
You can use PayPal Pro, Moneybookers, 2CO as well. But best choice is the best option :D

The processor I referenced works exclusively through Authorize.net for gateway services. Like I said - PM me for details, I can get you a quote.

Paypal! But don't forget to use a 3rd party payment processor with it! Like e-junkie or something! 'Cause if you withdraw too much money at once, paypal may limit your account. It's good to be on the safe side!

Agree with above, Paypal froze my account back a few years ago while dealing electronical goods.

Authorize.net and 2CO, for most CC auth, Moneybookers and Alertpay for payment processors would be my choice

Google Checkout is always good, I've been using them in a few stores, for a year or so, never had any problems.

Make sure to inquire about their security options. PCI compliance is a serious regulation. Do these providers offer Point-to-point Encryption or Tokenization?

Element Payment Services teamed up with ThoughtKey to release a white paper explaining PCI compliance and Point-to-point encryption. Learn more about it before making any decisions. Download the white paper at http://www.elementps.com/whitepapers/.

Google Checkout is it available for Canada? Or still only US and UK based?

    Hi,

What services are your looking for exactly? Do you require a virtual terminal or are you only taking payments through your website? If you are not processing large volumes, a 3rd party Payment Processor may be the ideal solution. Many 3rd party PP don't charge a monthly fee, or sign up fee and you only pay a small portion of the transaction instead.

    Good Luck,

Like I said in another thread, moneybookers and alertpay work great. Other than that 2CO and 1shopping cart are similar options that you might want to be considering.
