Who do you hate more? Microsoft or Google?

Microsoft has MSN and MSN is great... but Google has Google Earth and that's almost or just as great... it's a tough decision.. but I can tell you that I don't like Yahoo! or Ask.com, I used to like it when it was askjeeves...

 

I hate neither, in fact I love both. In fact, I bet ALL of you love both. How many of you use PC instead of Mac? How many of you use google instead of altavista?

They are BOTH the best at what they do, and that means that they are the best OVERALL. Every company has it's bad moments, but (most) companies get to the top because they have a QUALITY product.

I would like to argue this point. I would dare say, under 99% of all situations, Microsoft products will function fine at 97% stability out of the box. Problems arise AFTER you install programs. So, who's at fault, Microsoft, or the people who coded your program?

MS shouldn't be responsible for every half assed company releasing CRAPPY products that are then installed on Windows and result in the overall OS crashing.

If you installed a crappy engine into your Mercedes and the car broke down, who's to blame? The engine mauf., the installer, the user, or the car?

I hate Microsoft, but I hate Google more... st00pid ban for no reason dagnabit, such inhumanity and they also like to play god

 

I'll have to go with yo here. I never walk into the office on monday and wonder if my computer will start up or not, but I do walk in on monday and wonder if Google still has me properly indexed.

 

microsoft generally pisses me off, i've been quite happy with most google products ive used. Perhaps in about 6 months i'll say something different since im working on getting my site ranks in google now.

Both M$FT and GOOG give me money for free. So I don't hate either one....AT ALL!

 

I have come to terms with Microsoft - the dislike for Google is festering. If Google would just drop the "do no evil" biz and be honest, then I would respect them more.

 

Well seein as how both companies have changed the world for the better, and that I use and live off of both of them everyday, I would say neither, they are both good, and I am glad for them.

 

Google gets my vote for overuse of the word 'beta'

 

I don't hate either of them. Yes they both make mistakes and release defective software and updates, though I blame their competitors more for not taking advantage of this situation.

 

Bill Gates will retire early next year. And for what purpose? Charity. He found The Gates Foundation to help those unfortunate people. Now he is up to Fighting HIV/Aids. Wish him the best...

 

I hated Microsoft more...until Google screwed-up, then screwed-up again, then again...

 

I love both of them.
What I hate most is SPYWARE.
windows by itself, without any protection, is highly prone to spyware. Try installing windows out of the box and connect to the internet. You'll be infected with spyware before you can bat an eyelid. When the OS starts getting grumpy, that's when we start installing all sorts of scanning/anti-spyware software. Then what happens? There are bugs or coding that conflicts with one another and that gives rise to a whole load of brand new problems. The true enemy? spyware.

But if I really have to vote, I vote Microsoft. That's because their search engine can't even bring me half the traffic that google does

 

Well, Google brings me money. And micro$oft costs a lot of money (Windows). So I think I'll just hate microsoft.
