I have had my .us website twice within the past few days by some some flying a Turkish fly. I have his name and website that he posted, although most likely false. Who can I report this to as I suspect that the domain is being targeted as this xxxxxxx is anti American. By the way as you see from my user name I am British and not American. Feel free to PM me

It is my opinion (and others may disagree) that you essentially don't. They are like ants. There are millions of them! Excerpt from this article:

"..Attempting to prosecute each and every [idiot] that tries to 'hack' your computer -- in my opinion -- is an incredible waste of time, especially if your computer is being attacked by 50 different 'wannabe' hackers each and every day.

Keep in mind that *most* hackers are not targeting your computer specifically (per se). Most hackers are more than likely running a 'port sniffer' program that jumps from computer to computer connected to the Internet, looking for vulnerable communication ports on your computer.

If your computer system is up to date and adequately protected (see below for more info), you really don't need to be concerned about the 50 or so idiots that are trying to gain access to your system each day...."

The same goes for your website. Make sure you keep your software and your CMS (if you use one) up to date at all time

Thanks DB Man. I have the forum that this clown is a member of by the looks of it but I do not understand Turkish and have no idea what the site is about. Has anybody else with a .us domain been targeted by turkatesi.org the clowns username is Giuly ? Looking at the site I think that there maybe something a little more sinister about this particular hacker and his cronies.

The reason your site is being taken over is because you've failed to secure it. Update all your software and if you wrote your own software, take it down and fix it before putting it back up. If somebody wrote your code, scream at them to get it fixed ASAP!

It's extremely hard to really "hack" into a site. 99% of these people just use recent exploits and ready-made tools to scan a wide range of IPs for people who might be vulnerable (you).

Prosecuting them is impossible. If you go to UnixIRC, you'll see people selling SSNs/CC #s/bank info/PayPal accounts/email lists to spam/etc.. these people have been doing these for years, and nobody can do anything about it. It's up to you to secure your own software.

Where do you report an American-Russian-German-British Hacker ?
Are you going to the last point I can help you on legal processes (I live in Turkey and I am Turkish) , but how long will you go.
Of course the law forbits these kinds of activities but as in every country it is not easy to take legal action.
It is best to close the weaknesses of your site first of all , If you are using a general script look for its holes and close them.
And any help needed pm me I'll try to help.
