Who do I complain to about illegal sites for sale on DP?

What's with all the illegal content sites for sale in the adult site sales forum?

Almost every thread there is someone with a two week old tube site or porn forum full of unauthorised site rips looking to sell it on for $20.

Do dp staff who moderate that forum have any idea about stolen content issues / model releases / spam laws. If they do why is this persistent issue supported on such an industry wide respected webmaster board as DP?

Basically, you do business here at your own risk. The moderators aren't responsible for what is bought, sold, or traded on this forum, and they don't get involved in members' business.

If you find that someone is violating the rules of the forum you can report the thread or post, and if you have a concern about the legitimacy about a product or service you can ask for clarification in the thread to bring it to everyone's attention. Otherwise if you do business, you have to do your own due diligence.

I appreciate your response TikTok. But that's the whole point. I wont do business with anyone selling illegal stuff, but there are lots of people who will and dont know any better. When I see it in the adult forum then it kind of disuades me from doing biz or attaching any weight to opinions in other parts of the forum where it's a lot more honest and professional. The adult sites for sale subforum is 80% beyond the realms of legality and DP is not doing itself any favours by allowing it to continue, it needs a clamp down to be credible imho.

I just thought a widely respected resource such as DP might have higher morals than "we support sales of illegal sites and it's up to you know what you're doing" which is basically what you said. You know... to encourage the honest amongst an ever growing number of half internet savvy rip off merchants kids on school holidays.

    Thank you for clarifying that.

I think as a community we have a duty to protect the less knowledgeable amongst us, glad to see you agree.
