None of the DP members click AdSense ads, either others' ads or their own. But there are many here who make a lot of money... So who clicks the ads? Kids? Housewives? Blind people? I really cannot understand why people click the ads when they know they are ads... Any ideas?
No way. Never. Period. I am trying to find out, from DP users, what kind of people/ visitirs/ surfers click ads... Thank you. Have to trust your answer... looking at your post number and reps
That question is exactly the same as asking....None of the webmasters click ads. But there are many here who make a lot of money... So who clicks the ads? Er...there called visitors!!! Visitors click the ads when they are interest in them!!! And even webmasters have clicked ads that interest them...on other webmasters sites and Google searches.
Yeah, that's true. I agree. I click on ads during searches because it shows the companies who care to have their pages listed. Proves for good products for me.
Don't let that trick you!! Look at my user title for my real Rep!! I last clicked an AdWords ad....today, while searching Google for tax forms when my brain hadn't registered to go to the IRS web site!!
Oh! Now I notice... you are the king at SItepoint!! Congrats!!! Are we going to have a similar king here at DigitalPoint too?
With due respect, what makes you think that clicking on ads gives you more information? Like Nintendo clicked on an adsense ad instead of going to IRS website in search of tax forms...
We got a king here all right, da King of da Wackos!!! http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=440262&postcount=18 for links some examples of a messed up wacko. Then theres the Audio thread.... http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=23216
Information and Curiosity. If im looking to a PPC network (and somes times im not even lookink for it, it just calls my attention) and i look at the top of this page and i see a nice banner and some info that makes me curious, what to i do? i click it, because its so easy as click it... ("Like Nintendo clicked on an adsense ad instead of going to IRS website in search of tax forms... ").
I thought exactly the same untill I finally realised that the things are much more simple than that. Most people who visit your site have probably no idea what is adsense at all - they click it! Considering an average internet user, who has just read an article about how important it is to submit his sites to millions of ffa pages, if he sees an adsense ad offering this service will likely to follow it. While in fact the whole thing is useless...
Who clicks ads? Anyone that is interested in the ad - the text in an ad can attract your attention so it doesn't matter if you are a dp'r or webmaster. Everybody clicks ads at some point..... You make it sound it's some sort of trap
