To make money with affiliate sites, you have to have lots of traffic and those apropriate articles about the affiliate program that you join.
I didn't believe there is a quick method to get succes on affiliate. Like the other method all need any effort and time. so better learning by doing and you will get what best method for you.

Check my signature All you need is a good idea. Then buy domain name and build a website. If you have a good product to promote and select the right keywords you can bring lots of free traffic to your website.
How are you going to promote depends on what product and what affiliate network you are in. If you choose Clickbank, the fastest way to earn money is by writing a review about new products at Clickbank and submit your review to squidoo or ezine articles... you don't need to learn complicated SEO, creating lots of back links etc. Google already love these sites and your articles will get high ranking easily. For details about this techniques, search for bum marketing at google. The other method that I pick is Adwords. Except Adwords will require you to invest some dollars. In the beginning, it is hard, I mean very hard to make sales from your new website. Google doesn't like new domain, and you might take over one year to see your first check. Instead of trying to build a huge, hundred pages website, I suggest that you get autoresponder like aweber and build a mailing list. You can keep following up your leads, selling to them again and again. One more thing, I disagree when people said, to make sales, you need lots of traffic. Yes, you will need traffic, but targeted, qualified traffic from search engines. 1 000 traffic means nothing if there is no customers inside it. If you are wanting to make money quick I would recommend you look at affiliate programs that are converting very high. You will however need to be getting in large amounts of traffic to be making lots of money in quick time like you want. Learn how to do keyword research, generate free and paid traffic, how to track, testing, adwords. How to create landing pages, how to write emails etc and suggest you get signed up with an autoresponder like aweber.
