I have a friend whose sister lives in Pensacola, FL. Their mother had an uncle who owned an antique shop near Beverly, MA (~ 20 miles north of Boston, MA). This shop was in operation perhaps 70 - 80 yrs ago. This uncle gave to the mother a very old teddy bear, and when the mother passed away, she designated that her two daughters would have it. These two ladies have asked me to find a valid buyer for it. The bear is in a box in the home of my friend. Have you considered selling it on ebay? You can do local pickup only if you don't want to ship it, and that way they can come check it out in person.
