    Hey guys,

I need some help. I have an .swf file that needs some editing, but I would need the return file to be an swf file... I need some things revmoved and one thing added (two image removed, one help link added) so if any of you can help, please, please contact me. Even if you can just extract swf files and delete some images, that will help with half of it, so please just PM me or post here.

    Thanks!

Yeh, I tried that before, and just tried again, it doesn't work, it messes up the whole thing.. Quite annoying. All I really want is a short, really simple flash site where it shows all my flickr photos and it looks nice and customized, however, I just can't seem to do it. Well, I could never do the flash part but I can't even do it in HTML or PHP..

If anyone would be willnig to do it for me, I would be greatly thankful.

    Many thanks Vooler,

.swf can not be edited directly. First, you need to apply a decompiler on it. This will create a according .fla file which you can edit using Flash application.

Well this is what exactly SWF Quicker do, as well as adds editting features in GUI. But Magestry is right, it sometimes messes up the file when editted.

As far decompilation, same company has another software
    http://www.sothink.com/product/flashdecompiler/index.htm

Which also produces fla, but I have doubt it might not be different than the one produced by swf quicker.

Magestry - Can I see the swf you are trying to edit ?
Maybe we can reproduce it at runtime through PHP.

    regards

Sure, its not my file, but its great, its something that I would like but I need some customisations and I don't really want the links. I have contacted the guy who owns it, but for a few weeks now I have not had a reply. This is it running on my site: www.zachsart.com and this is the actual file running with my user: http://flickr.flashapis.com/files/fullscreen.swf?username=35379743@N05 I would just like the two things in the bottom to be replaced with a 'HELP' section where they can click it and an image (that I have made) will show. Also, there are a few minor changes that would make it a lot better, like swapping the photos around so that the newest show first, not the oldest and maybe when they load it have a few images on rotation.

I hope this is possible. I have tried so many different things, but my only real strong point is HTML or CSS and a few things of PHP. Its all run by Flickr API, so if it helps, here are all the docs and stuff that is all gobledy goops to me: http://www.flickr.com/services/api/

Hopefully you can help as your amazing at PHP (As I have seen xD)

    Thanks,
    Magestry
