Hey, I'm very curious... Who burn more bandwidth daily, Google or Rapidshare? Google have...uhm... not bad traffic, half miliard internet users daily or something, I guess Anyway - their search engine is very small weight to load. Rapidshare have nice traffic too, but from their servers people download huge amounts of files - its biggest download service, isnt it?
i think its rapidshare..millions download zillion gb per day...so its got to be rapishare.. tho if u count all the google sites like blogger, Google Video, Picasa, etc etc..google wud win..
I'm going to say Google does. Gmail, Google Video, etc. all combined is a LOT. Google has to build power stations all over the place, too. They use rivers as water coolers.
Both will use terabytes per day, Including Google.co.uk & .com, I think Google might use a little bit more.
Of course Google. I think the Google spiders waste much more bandwidth than the search results. They just don't take a break. .
well it would be rapidshare , i know websites where thousands of users download videos , blue films , warez worth 700 mb files , google spiders wont be wasting too much bandwith
undoubtedly google!! even youtube alone takes huge bandwidth with tons of video's running all over the internet!! even orkut and blogger are huge! and google.com with all the cache i voted for google
Its google without a doubt. Youtube alone uses more bandwidth than rapidshare. RS is small peanuts compared to google.
Rapidshare has a hell of a lot of downloaders. Youtube and stuff may not even be able to compare to the amount of warez on Rapidshare that people download.
You've got a good point there, Google pretty much archives the internet which alone would outweigh Rapidshare. Put it this way, Rapidshare has lots of servers, Google has lots of datacentres
