    My parents were so happy when Pacquiao won. It was ALL OVER the news and they were jumping up and down. What a celebration! I felt bad for Morrales though.

    I've heard that there has been a big amount at stake in that fight. And bets are already been placed a week before the fight. I've seen the fight on TV and it's great :)

    Yeah. The whole Philippines was watching that fight, even the movie theaters around here was covering that fight. Some movie theaters here are offering also free breakfast.

    yeah.. and it was al over the Phils.. even the Theaters made money with it.. They ahd it shown in the movie houses and charging people with more than the usual ticket. Really great fight!..

    That's what they say. But I'm sure a lot of it will go to his neighbors and other countrymen as what he did before. Even if he has no fight , he really give some to the poor during special occassions. :)

    And I never thought that I would ever find a Pacquiao thread here in DP. :)

    I bet $2(cheapskate!) with someone, for Pacquiao. It wasn't the money, it was for national pride.

    I heard that he's really very generous, even with his mistresses, to his wife's indignation. He was rumored to have gifted a popular mistress back near his place with a house and lot. But Mrs. Pacquiao is also a southpaw, using her claws, of course. That's why Pacquiao is coming in clean now, well, at least for now.

    We're really proud of him, though.
