    I just finished typing up a blog post and I received this after clicking Submit Post:


    Down for Maintenance

    Blogger is temporarily unavailable due to planned maintenance.
    This downtime will last one hour from 4pm - 5pm (PST).

    Who was the genius at Blogger that thought a good time for "routine" maintenance was at 4pm PST? Geez. :rolleyes:

    I've got in the habit of CTRL-A, CTRL-C before pressing most submit buttons, especially Blogger and Hotmail.

    Maybe it would be a suitable time for other parts of the world. Anyway, if something is broke, it needs to be fixed whatever the time is. :)

    Blogger seems to be the easiest free blog to use but from what I've been told, Wordpress is so much better.

    Wordpress is great, I use Wordpress for all my newer blogs.

    If you can afford to get hosting, I'd recommend ditching Blogger as soon as possible.

    We have hosting but my mysql and php knowledge is limited. One of my guys will set it up for me though. I figgured I will go with the best from now and after all of my research, WP is it. Focus long term and the first hurdle will seem like nothing down the road.

    Absoultely. Switching to Wordpress made my life and my blog much better. Many display "issues" were fixed across all browsers too.

    I got sick of waiting for blogger to post, and having little control over the templates.
