There's paydotcom, plimus as well as some other networks, but none of them comes close to clickbank. There's no serious competition for clickbank at the moment.
I'd stick to CB if you want to promote digital products. Paydotcom, Plimus and all the other competitors have the greatest junk products in all IM history. Just sign up and verify that yourself. I would definitely stick to Clickbank.
Clickbank Rules. I always go with them first as a vendor for my own products and then paydotcom if clickbank doesn't accept my product. For promoting I go with Clickbank first also. Mike
There is a new affiliate network that i have come across called Click2Sell - pay upto 95% comission. well other one which have already been mentioned here which are commission junction, paydotcom etc
I actually have the Click2Sell owner at the NicheChoppers forum, and we've made a sub-forum for them (much like there is a CB section here), and have already had a few top level products go through them with the owners helping one on one (very good CS for vendors and affs!). Still can't touch CB in size however yes there are benefits that CB does not offer. * Internal communication with your aff's, and your customers (can email them in mass/one at a time) * Vendors can set commission per affiliate (so I can give my top guys a better commission without 3rd party/side bonuses via paypal etc.). * Pretty soon they are launching their new platform where they will be responsible for payouts much like CB. The only problem with every single other network outside CB is that the merchants are responsible for payments, and unfortunately the shady vendors know this and prey on those unsuspecting noobs so PDC and the like have left a bad taste in most peoples mouths. Nobody trusts anyone in this industry as it is, these new networks should know this by now, and I think those that adapt an internal moderation/payout structure will be the first to truly be able to call themselves anything close to a competitor to CB, no matter how many cool functions they might have.
CJ, Linkshare, GoogleAffiliatenetwork are all different types of network. But Paydotcom, ShareaSell, Click2Sell are like clickbank but they don't even come close in sales and quality. However for those who are curious about making lots of money from digital products. Try out www.RevenueWire.Com and www.Yourclick.com. these are 2 sites that have all the famous products CB used to have. Such as RegCure, XsoftSpy, all the Music and movie products. I been using them since CB took off those products and it converts just like CB. Hope that helps.
I took a look at RevenueWire's product list, very limited, only 39 products listed, is that really all they have? Yourclick looks to have more but still very limited, like only 4 products in Health and Fitness. That's the problem with all the CB competitors, very limited inventory.
I agree that clickbank is the most famous among merchants and affiliates but many of its digital products are junk as well then howcome everyone likes it?
