    No I didn't got banned. I was just asking coz maybe G is only banning people for invalid clicks and does give warnings on other TOS.

    my friend who put the ads very close to his articles got a warning from G. he complied and they thanked him for cooperating.

    a warning from Google???? WHAT that's a first... they mostly send the TOS and your account toast... along with all your earning..

    lots of people get warnings. e.g anguilla-beaches.com. :) their warning was uncommon. :)

    Unless its something very minor IMO, you don't deserve a warning.

    As far as I know, the only reason they give you for getting banned, is invalid clicks, no matter what the rule was that you broke. That makes it easier for them I'm sure -- nice cut and paste response, why should they take the time to explain why you were banned? You are banned already, and are just wasting their time at that point.

    I can understand G warning people about "tricky" ad placement. I don't think they warn you about invalid clicks though, and they shouldn't.
