I never visited Chennai,otherwise i'll tell you that which place is better for you.

I am from chennai, in my opinion best places in chennai would be Annanagar you can find almost everything there except for cinema halls, nungambakkam is also a best place reason is its in the center you can reach to any part of the city from there with ease, Adyar is good only reason is lots of rich people stay there and you got some spots there like children's park where you will hardly find any children only lovers hanging around lol. triplicane is near to beach and with city center near by and inox theatre its another good spot.

There is no place like u get everything u need to move around chennai to find what you want, of course u can get everything in chennai. Nice to see someone from chennai
