WHMreseller creating 17gb of core files every minute and filling /usr

    HEllo,
    WHMreseller is creating core dump files every minute and in a few hours the /usr/ fills with core files in /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot

    I contacted cpanel and they replied.

    The core dumps are originating from whmreseller getip .

    /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/whmreseller/scripts/getip bluewaveserver

    I would recommend moving or removing this getip binary and contacting whmreseller support for assistance with why this binary file is seg faulting.

    whmreseller is a 3rd party product not supported by cPanel.

    Please suggest what should I do?
    Because I have to delete every few hours which is getting problematic.

    I was having the same problem, no one was able to resolve that... and then i was forced to use :

    You can adjust the cron job... and set it accordingly
    Hope this will help anyone... same as me.
