    not sure if im posting in the right spot but,
    i just got WHMCS 3.8 (legal) and i keep getting an error when i goto the client side " The install folder needs to be deleted for security reasons before using WHMCS"

    and yes i have deleted the install folder :p

    Any help would be great

    Delete/remove the install folder from your web server. That's what the error told you about. You can't go to the admin area until you delete/remove the install folder completely.

    You might think you deleted it, but its probably not. Go into your file manager and try to delete it.

    if you have a legal copy of whmcs then submitting a ticket to whmcs will have them fix the thing for you. they could probably tell you why it's still giving you that message after you've deleted the folder

    That's a bit odd as if you delete the folder, it should make the error go away. Your best bet is to go to WHMCS Official Support.
