I am looking for a little help from people who are currently using WHMCS I want to implement a payment Gateway in the system there are a lot there was checking 2CheckOut how good is this company any one currently using it ? I wanted to use Plimus but they API is not built in to the WHMCS system so pretty much need to use one of the options I have, I have heard terrible stories about Paypal that make me want to stay away from them, my business model is Web Hosting and VPS Virtual Private Servers rental, if you are currently using WHMCS please let me know what Payment Gateway are you using and your experience with them, also if someone is working with the company 2CheckOut as payment gateway whats your experience with them, hope you guys can help a little here.
We're currently using PayPal and had no problem so far. Apart from a client had a VPS for a month on a subscription payment, I recieved the payment on the second month - A few days later a chargeback was created for an unauthorized payment. I selected the option 'Do not give refund & explain the matter' (or something along those lines) but the customer still got a refund automatically.
I also currently use PayPal and their Website Payments Pro service to accept credit card payments. Not had any problems with them as yet, they did put a low level limitation on my account for a few days but that was my own fault as I hadn't uploaded my Privacy Policy. I haven't used 2CheckOut myself, but I have heard good reviews.
We are using 2Checkout.com as our payment gateway. Yes 2CO is costly (sign up fee $49 and 0.45+5.5% fee/per transaction). But so far we have found their support good and supportive. Don't know how they will treat us in future. So far good support received.
