Sounds like a good deal but I have a question, is it required a 2-years registation?

I tried to get a mobi registered at $14 somewhere else, but at checkout it was trying to charge $28, two years requirement, they said

 

You don't have to register .mobi for 2 years anymore, it has been lifted about 1 month ago so you can just register for 1 year.

I have reserves over mobi domains to pay a 2-years registration, but 1 year is fine to me discovering if they have potential.
