I run a social network, and believe me the amount of email sent to @yahoo is quite large, and well, Yahoo might decide sooner or later to bulk me out.

I've heard of WhiteListed SMTPs, anyone know of any techniques to avoid Bulking or anything?

aol have a system where you verify your site and email accounts to them and they white list you.
i know because i was getting mail bounced from all my aol members, they can report mail as spam and aol blacklist you, but you can verify your site and sites email accounts with them to be white listed.
i guess yahoo and everyone does the same for newsletters.

Interesting. You sent the emails yourself? Why you don't hire some such companies to do the work for you?

I've created my own .php at the backend, so I just don't need it. Right now my server admin restricted my social network's smtp beacuse "i was sending too many messages". Well guess what, every time a user throws a comment, a mail is sent, sounds ok to me.. :-S

Anyone got any ideeas how i can use <something>@mydomain.net on someone else's SMTP?
