Well Gtech and Mia... here's the proof you were looking for.

Our president is such a scum bag. In October he threatened World War 3, and in August cited a Nuclear risk of leaving Iraq would bolden Iran. What a fear mongering piece of trash.

The doublespeak of the Bush admin. has reached an astounding level.

I don't know how red handed the Bush admin. has to be caught before a certain % of Americans drops their support of him. The people that still support Bush at this point do not operate on reason but purely on faith. It's really almost cult like. It's irrational to believe anything the Bush admin says. The evidence of their duplicitous words thus far is overwhelming. It does not make sense to continue to believe their lies.

I can think of at least 3 people that still support and justify his irrational actions. Gtech, Mia, Will.Spencer...call 'em what you want.

I'm going to stay out of any name calling of individuals on this forum but I am very curious about how any intelligent person can still support Bush and I know that many of these folks are quite intelligent that's what makes it that much more confusing. It really does seem like some sort of 1984 thing where people know that they are wrong yet they convince themselves somehow that it's still right. Humans are very good at justifying their behaviors and thoughts. Certainly we all do it to some extent. Psychologically it's quite interesting but of course also exasperating.

I think if you take a step back from our current situation and look at things from a historical context then it becomes crystal clear just how wrong the course we (the United States) are on now. We are on the same course as every failed empire from the past. We have not learned from history and we are repeating it. It feels like we should be knowledgeable enough at this point to stop this now... And I think this election (2008) is a chance at turning things around. Maybe the Bush admin's deceitfulness has reached such proportion as to finally wake people up out of their slumber. Unfortunately our foreign policy as been one of imperialism for quite some time, it's not new to the Bush admin., they are just taking it farther and faster... I think life could be much better for Americans and for many people around the world if we would only adopt the logical non interventionist foreign policy advocated by Ron Paul.

Keyword "intelligent". Noted. To add to that I would not consider a person that constantly disputes facts, ridicules truth, promotes torture and violence as intelligent.

    Sigh..

He twisted the intelligence. I watched the build up, most intelligence experts disagreed with him..

That's not following the intelligence, that's making it up and cherry picking to get your way.
