I'm wondering how icons like these are painted:

It looks amazing. Whitch program authors was using in your opinion?
And whitch program is better for creating textured 3d art? I'm quite familiar with sketchup, but best jobs I've ever seen was made ant textured with 3DSmax.

    I really need your opinions.

Icons like this are quite difficult to make! And I am highly doubting that these are made by Adobe Illustrator.

Well, they can be done in a variety of different software's. It just depends on which software the designer is most comfortable with. A few software's capable of that would include: Illustrator, CorelDraw, DrawPlus, Paintshop pro, inkscape, gimp, Fireworks, photoshop, paint.net, & More.

Very nice work! Well you can do anything in in Illustrator and Photoshop but i guess this can not be done that easily. It will take some time and lot of effort.

If that's Photoshop the icons are created with, then you could use GIMP as well.
