Hi DP experts, Which Yahoo answer sub category is worth trying to make money from affiliate marketing ?
My site goes well with Weight loss category. It looks like that lots of women are interested in weight loss products
It really depends on your site. One of my sites which focuses on the game Kingdom Hearts does amazing in the gaming section, while my web 2.0 blog gets a lot of clicks under the Internet and Technology sections.
Well, it mainly depends upon the niche of your site. Use those sub categories of which your Site's niche belongs to, - Digital -
Travel and health also is good. I have been working for a health related site before and it really makes money for my client.
I honestly like the jobs category, and the money making niche. Of course as mentioned, it all depends on your feel of interest.
I always promote my sites under Personal Finance. Never got banned for promoting my sites and reached Level 7.
In my experience, most in this category are related to scams. For example: linking to a website that offers a simple, easy, job that anyone can do. All you have to do to apply is give your email address out and verify it, give out your address and phone number, or any other number of things. The webmaster gets free data to sell to others, and the applicant gets absolutely nothing. I've seen a lot more that are even more vicious- requiring users to sign up for a "free" credit report first before applying. In the fine print, the website says the user will be charged a nominal fee for access over 24 hours. I'm sure there are some legit reasons you would advertise there, but I've yet to really see any myself.
Wouldn't it be great if there were just one killer category then 1,000's of people just posted crap answers with affiliate links... that would be sweet. Do the posters ever think about what they are really asking?
I stopped trying to earn from Yahoo Answers back in '07. That was when it lost all of its popularity and was extremely filled with too many marketers selling their products. Yugo,
