Which would you rather have?

    Imagine this.

    There are 10 months.

Would you rather have a site that will make a steady amount money during all those 10 months

    OR

Would you rather have a site that after the 10th month, it gets huge and makes you loads of money for the next months.

Basically, would you rather make sites that will make you money TODAY, or build up a network of sites for the future knowing that they will become large and will make you money for the future.

Why not do both? You could build both incomes at once.

You could have an income the first ten months and get your landfall when the network matured.

The first option. If I had the 2nd option than I would probably quit after 6 months if it wasn't working for me.

Like what DownSouth said, do both! It would require a lil more effort, but may not necessarily overwhelm you. And at the end of the 10 months, you can possibly have 2 sources of income.

I consider making a single successful site, then add a network to increase earnings eventually.

But I think 10 months is long enough to decide, especially if the earning is consistently low.

I rather not to chose 10 months to wait to harvest the money,I think 6 months is ready to lunch, the detail is.first month will be use implement the "rough plan into reality "and then the other months used to implement all the idea onto site, then update is activated so that it will be custom and after all custom, content and locality build time to monetize, and since we are not twitter,I suggest not to wait too long to activate the ads

10 months is too long. If it's possible to work on those two options, might as well work on it. However, putting all my eggs into one basket is kinda risky. Besides, what if things changed in the future and the supposed guaranteed income didn't materialize? If I wait for 10 months and end up with nothing, it's gonna be a huge loss for me, both money and time. Better to spread the risk, IMO.

I think the missed point is, with the right idea you don't have to wait 10 months to see a windfall. You can make huge money in the first month if you pick the right niche.

I personally would like to have a website that starts making me money right away and improve upon that website so that the cash flow increases every month. Eventually, based on the contents of the website, I could be making more than the other option of one large pay off. Not to mention, steady income is better for budgeting versus the potential to receive money all at once at end up splurging it all right away which is what usually happens with large lump sums.
