Hi, I'm currently in the market for a new wireless N router. The one that I currently have, Linksys WRT610N, is turning out to be a piece of junk. I normally research this type of thing and read reviews before purchasing. When I do so, the above router shows up in the tops of a lot of the lists that I look at. The problem that I'm having is that I need to reboot the thing several times throughout the day. Other times it seems it reboots itself (the power light begins blinking, drops connection, then stops blinking, reconnects, etc.). It's becoming quite annoying. I'm going to have 7 devices connected to it. 2 wired, the rest wireless including a PS3 and a Netflix box (Roku), so throughput is important. Dual band would be nice as I have a dual-band adapter on one of the computers. Currently have a Motorola Surfboard 6120 running in to it. I would just like something that performs very well and doesn't need to be babysat all day long. Price is not an issue. Thanks!
Have you upgraded the firmware of your router? Firmware update could fix unstable connection. If you have done so and still to no avail. Try E3000. It's the most stable router that I have known and tried so far.
Yeah, the firmware is the latest. I was looking at that e3000. Update: Since I posted this, the PS3 has stopped working, so it's not been online, etc. The router has not dropped since. I have a feeling it was something to do with gaming over it. Thanks for the suggestion, Cossette.
