Which will be best for SEO?

I have 10 domains but i want to develop only one and redirect others to this main domain.Now i can redirect all other domains in the following ways:

• Using URL forwarding feature at the domain registrar
• Using separate directory for each domain and placing a 301 redirect htaccess file in each folder
• Using parked domain feature in cpanel

Which one will be best for SEO and why (if possible) ?

EDIT: The domains i have is in this format example.various()extensions (developing only the .com one)

 

THeres like no point to have 10 domain and 1 site and 9 pointing to the site

i think the second strategy will be best and nowadays I am seeing a lots of people is applying this technique.

 

the 1st option is fine (whitehatty)
2nd option is ok (blackhatty)

it may be a more effective strategy to put content on all your domains and link them together than to do a redirect.

 

301 redirect in any method is good.

 

First of your mentioned method is the best for doing redirect.

But if your domains has no SEO value (age, backlinks, traffic, PR) then you won't get any traffic improvement for your website

 

Don't try to internal linking of all domain if they have same Ips. Try to focus on one website.

Obviously you can use 301 redirection technique for better results.

 

301 redirect is the best white hat techniques but Google is very smart nowadays so if none of the domains have ever had content on and registered at a similar time then they pretty much know what is going on.

If you felt the need to buy ten domains I can only imagine your doing it for keyword domains. Pick the strongest with keywords in as your main domain, put content on a couple and ditch the rest. You don't need so many domains, maybe develop one as a forum to start then you can put it on your main domain under a forum folder and keep the domain as big as possible.

 

I had a question involving the same thing, but I was actually wondering more about the penalty for doing such a thing, for example if you understand that users may type your address incorrectly, is using an auto-domain forward harmful in any way?

if all of the domains are keyword based i'd just mirror the sites, different sites with the same content.

 

Actually no way it will help for offpage seo.

 

In my point of view..if you have 10 sites with same theme..then you have to chose 100 keywords with high search volume and less competitive. 10 keywords each website. then work on that keywords for every websites...then you will get good visitor with 100 keywords...and you will get better profit. but if redirect your site then you its quite difficult to optimize with 100 keywords and it will take long time for better ranking

if you chose total 10 keywords for every site and redirect to one site then will not get good visitor.

Hay.. Its not a good way of forwarding 9 domains to one. crap totally.
