which web proxy is the best

    I am in search of some good web proxies but at one point or other most fail. tried to google but was not able to find any good results. so thought should ask you guys here

    There are people who prefer Glype because it can prevent SE from indexing your proxified pages and there are those who prefer phproxy because it is faster. Some will go with CGI because it has all that phproxy and glype has if its not better but the downside would be the knowledge one need to maintaine a CGI proxy.

    I would recommend Glype 0.5.3 as it is most widely used for now or if you need a light one, use phproxy.

    no brother you've got me wrong. I am not looking to set up a proxy myself or a site. What I want is to know those sites like "hidemyass.com" or similar sites where you can enter the site that you want to visit in the search bar and visit that site and your ip is not revealed.
