What type of forum you are running and how much bandwidth you use ? I would recommend Virtual-India.In , It's quite fast cheap and easy to setup webhosting.
Well one thing i will say for sure is dont use godaddy, we have had nothing but trouble hosting our site with them. I have problems at least 10 times a day just getting access with errors, so you imagine how many members i lose due to this if its happening to me that many times, and despite numerous emails they have no answer to it, and say they are not sure what is wrong, so we will be looking at some of these options here and definatly moving rapidly. Just trying to work out how to back up our forum for the move so we dont lose anything.
You Can Better Use Some Coupons And Get Hosted.... Fatcow Has Giving More Offers And Also Cheap According To Your Needs... Use http:// offer.fatcow .com there you can signup with 42$ for one year
If you're looking for hosting at a cheap price One Fifty Hosting is new on the market, and provides 29GB bandwidth packages for $1.50 a month. That should be enough for 5000 visits a day [as you've said], but if you expand you can always purchase more ($0.20 per 5GB). Payment is made monthly through Paypal.
hi, I am using Dreamhost now. I am satisfied with their service. However, do remember to get a $50 discount coupon code before signing up. It provides 2 weeks free trial.
I suggest probably www.fazewire.com over Host Gator anyday. The reason is quite simple, Fazewire actually owns the servers in the racks.
My vote will go for Hostgator. You can also try greengeeks, bluehost & many other nice companies out there.
Doreo web hosting; one very reputed site had recommended it after trying all big hosts for many years [read it on the dailyblogtips.com ] You can also try a small host like vade.ie I can't post links because I am new; you can just copy paste the links in address bar.
Check out the terms of service of the companies where you want to host your directories. This type of website doesn't require too much disk space so you don't need to care if the company offers 1 GB disk space or 100 GBs. Even 100 MBs may be enough for your project. You should rather to compare how much CPU resources you can use because 5000 visitors can cause high CPU usage.
Don't just decide based on price. Go through the plan features and decide if you have them all at the best price and support.
I've been using the same host for more then 5 years.. I'm taking LARGE scale websites.. eCommerce sites, check out my link in my sig.
I'm using HostGator atm and i would really suggest them since they give a free Dedicated SSL certificate when you purchase web hosting business plan. Also they got alot of owner licenses for example you can get a free WHMCS License if your a customer from hostgator.
