Which web hosting affiliates to stay away from??

This upcoming week, I plan on promoting a dozen or so of CJ's web hosting affiliates. Are there any in particular I should stay away from, or are they are good to work with?

webhosting is a tricky one alot of merchants reverse the commissions. Some reasons are...
They pay out 100.00/sign up right. Well some reverse on monthly and only want you to promote prepaid yearly. But they don't tell you that they have links and banners that promote the cheapest. You really should run a search here and put "webhosts" in and see what pulls up. there are alot of good companies out there that pay. I am running fatcows inhouse they payout quarterly not monthly. i run powweb and they pay. I run godaddy and it is hit and miss with them sometimes. Just ask the am what their criteria is if it is not in their tos.

Oh, you guys were talkin about webhostingpad as an affiliate program, not as a hosting service. Well, the guy who suggested me to go with webhostingpad got his referral payment. So, not sure if they are bad or good.

Promote the hosts you use, it's that simple. How can you ethically tell anyone that a company is good or not if you have ZERO experience with them yourself?

Professional Athletes promote Nike, but not while wearing adidas!
    Wonder why they do that?

A lot of webhosting companies have crap service and are oversold. They put on a pretty face, but are a total disaster to work with.

My experience with Hostgator is just the opposite. As an affiliate I had 100% reversals, probably because of all those "first month free" and other super cheap come-ons they promote that attract people who won't continue the plans = reversal.

And as a user of Hostgator I got burned pretty bad. They were fine for a year or so and then some mysterious problem developed with my email server that they never fixed so I was forced to flee to another hosting company.

    As always, YMMV.

How so? I'm about to launch a godaddy promotion that I've spent quite a bit of time preparing for. I'd sure appreciate any words of warning you can give regarding their aff program.
