Which web host should I use?

I'm currently deciding which paid host to use now that I'm done with using free hosting. I need help deciding between iPage or JustHost. Does anyone use any of these two and have any opinions on them? Thanks in advance! :)

Not familiar with iPage and JH is ok. They've been around a while but you shouldn't sign up thinking you can use up all the space and bandwidth they promise you. To be honest, you'd be better off knowing your hard limits on disk and bandwidth, that way you would know when to upgrade so you'd be less likely to get suspended for using too much "resources"

Both hosters are relatively young companies, but there are merely few bad review about them. However, I would also consider Hostmonster as they are in the business since 1996 and have great support, I personally use them for several projects for about 5 years now. (See my sig for HM discount).

Anything will be better then the free hosting your using right now. iPage has been around longer than JustHost but either one should do you well.

If you google for their names + reviews I think you will find a lot of related reviews and in help of them you will be able to find out how good or bad they are. But they are not only the ones here. A lot of web hosting companies are there and if you compare them with any other you will be able to make better choice.

    Hi,

Both Ipage and Justhost provide money back guarantee. You can give them a try. I am personally using Dreamhost and I find them good. However, it is more expensive. Dreamhost provides 2 weeks free trial for you to test their web hosting service with no money down. Do use a $50 discount coupon code before you sign up for Dreamhost.

Look! 1000 of people calling me or email me to ask why I choose your site? Why not theme?
iPage or JustHost - Has CONTRACTS ! Ok I explain: iPage or JustHost tey are offered you Unlimited everything for 3-4 dollars! But this is not true! They add terms if you host here for 12, 24 or More months then I'LL give you this! at that cost will be over $100 for sure! and If you want to pay monthly that monthly cost will be 7 to 9 dollars per month! [As usual]
You pay the money then why you wast your time at CONTRACTS! This CONTRACTS going to a PERFECT PRISON when those servers get downtime or down from UPTIME! or If you wants to move on to other business -THAT WOULD BE MORE PAIN FULL!

I wouldn't go with any one that over sells their servers. I would recommend Liquid Web.

I agree with most saying Hostgator (I have a dedicated server with them), but would add to WAIT UNTIL MONDAY. On monday they will be offering 50% off, so you can get a killer deal.

I have used Ipage, I still have an account with Ipage, They are great for small sites and or static sites. I have found they really try to bend over backwards in terms of customer service, although dont always have the right answers. If you intend to use any software that requires FSocket to be set to open they wont be any good, they tell me they are looking into allowing Fsocket to be opened but not currently. I have to say though I liked them. I could put many domains on the really cheap package. Tip before you pay for your hosting on Ipage hit the back button and they will knock some more money off.

In my madness I bought Godaddy, my mother told me if I have nothing good to say I should say nothing.....

Ive just signed up with GlobalHost and so far so great.

If your website has a low to medium number of visitors - ipage or justhost both are ok

If your website has a high number of visitors - hostgator may be better in this case
