Which web directories rank best for terms related to individual categories?

That would be good --because my strongest directory which is only PR4 is listed there ---
I rank #2 out of 73,700,000 for a TERM but only 45 searcher for the term '' Yar SEO Directory is almost 11 times better than my term --526 searches.

I am not for ranking myself--I want to help my clients rank!

Romow is king, no doubt about that. One of the directories I highly recommend submitting to.

 

Romow does very well in SERPs. Also GII is very well ranked for many popular words.

 

I also see www.forplex.com come up for all kinds of good terms now.

its amazing how much these great directories spend in addition to marketing their homepage although i sometimes wonder if the money spent was better invested all on the homepage? Guess its hard to quantify the difference....

 

As long as you build up branding, you will build up value, even if you reinvest all of what you make.

This is a bit more on SEO and stuff and also some searcher's sentiments.

I did a blog post on domains, and how i love to find good domains.

And i realise that search terms that was giving me good traffic was with something something add url or add url something something.

That is why i saw addurlhealth.com and i bought it straightaway.


Today it is ranked top 10 for add url health which i believe will get some traffic. I think addurlhotels.com and addurlinsurance.com should have a good potential..

But i just haven got time to do those.. Maybe i will after the wedding.
