Looks like they used photoshop's slicing tool and save as an web page... An absolutely horrible way to create a website. Never use a 'tool' to code a website, they always create garbage like this site.

Yes, there are several tell tale signs on how a website was developed by looking at the source. Several hundred different ways in fact, and until you really start analyzing a lot of websites (and talking to the developers), your best bet will be to look for comments and preg matches.

Coding by hand is the best way to code a site. Notepad++ and Photoshop is all I need to work.

Use Notepad++ to highlight the syntax and your brain to do the layout. You will get it done quickly.

Sometimes from the source You can know which software is created the site. If it comes to Joomla, WP, or similar applicationsor DW template... But it is generally impossible...
With the best tool you can make rubbish of the code if you have bad designer...

I thin it's not a save as web page job from photoshop. The photoshop output code will be much messier than the code of that website

I think this may also have been developed by Microsoft Frontpage. Though I believe that the code has been reviewed manually also rather than just depending on the editor itself cause it has good indentation and pretty clean which normally drag and drop editors mess up.
