I would be willing to bet it is a credit card scam. :( Especially given it was apparently late at night in the US, so more than likely an overseas sale with stolen CC data.

I don't think so. How do you know it was late last night? Its already been shipped out also.

    1. Well most people won't drop close to $6,000.00 on a pair of machines which you would likely only need one of and would want to hand examine prior to purchase.

    2. You said you awoke to find it. Most likely you were checking stats yesterday as well, so had you seen the sale yesteday then you would have replied you sold 2 yesterday.

    3. Just because it shipped does not mean its clear.....a person may not know the purchase was made fraudulently till they check their credit card statement.

Just guesses. but none the less I hope it works out for you. That is a great commission if it stands up.

    :)

My most expensive is the canon lense.
It cost around $1500, so I got about $60 in commission fee.
I promote using PPC, my advestise cost is about $3.
Ha..ha..ha my ROI is quite high...:D
Sad thing is...it is only one time happen. I did not get anymore order so far.
May be it is too expensive for the average people only Pro will buy it.

    Good luck,

    Watches priced 2K.

I am lucky to sell no more than 2-3 pieces per year, as a rule - in late fall on Holiday Season.

A lot of my Amazon sales are for things not even related to my websites - which tells you that half the battle is just getting them to click on your links - you have a chance to make money after that!

Just out of interest, what happened with this in the end? Scam or real sale?

I did wonder - cool! I thought maybe the guy was a juggler and wanted to start juggling some serious stuff, like they do with chainsaws! I guess he already had one and just bought a couple more...!

I sold a flat panel TV. That was my best so far, and I didn't even market it... just got the credit.
