I like Windows XP SP2 and Windows 7 (ultimate is the version of windows 7 which i am using in my laptop right now).
yes you are right window seven is best & easy to use and window seven ultimate is the best for home user.
It`s been a while that I`m using 7 Ultimate x64 and it`s not a bad edition. I even tried the experimental copy of windows 8 on vmware (had problems with drivers) but not anything new except the start up theme that looks like android. Anyway if you need a windows that does not stress to much you hardware you can even use Windows XP sp3
I am using Window XP on my desktop, its best and user friendly operating system with having best ability to storing new software and applications easily without interrupting any problem regarding installation. On the other side I am using window 7 on my laptop fo doing advance work with upgraded and having advanced features to less work time and complexity.
I love WINDOWS 7 the simplicity of using the search prompt and not browsing everything on where you put the file that you are looking for.
Personally, Windows 7 is my favourite. Although not as fast as Mac OS, it's a very stable OS. And it has a nice User Interface. Much better than Vista. And I prefer the Windows 7 UI to the new Windows 8 Metro.
When I do use windows, I rather like both WIndows 7 and XP. XP is great because of how fast it is and Windows 7 is nice because of it's compatibility with just about everything.
