    I find the black dots really distracting.

    I like the first one. You're dangerously close to over designing it, leave it alone :D

    V5 is the best :D and i think the colours work well, you may want to shade some of the sides to give it more of a sheild look.

    Yellow on yellow, red on red? think you need to think about this a little more and design so there is no colour clash. Puting a stroke around the type is not a good solution.

    On V2 have the dots at about 50% opacity and the text with a thicker stroke (eg: 2px). Try this.
