Which User Names Should I Restrict?

I'm working on a Social Networking Site and I'm in the need of help of restricting inappropriate user names. So if you have any suggestions, please post them here or message me them if you are afraid of being banned! Thanks!

 

That depends on the type of site! Also ban anything that deem inappropriate to you!

 

Anything that is blatantly offensive like curse words or swears. I think racial remarks should be restricted too.

 

Also ban anything that deem inappropriate to you.

 

Brand names , religious names and celebrity names . That should do it .

 

I'm sure if you do a Google search you will find a compiled list of restricted names for this purpose

Some ideas on names to ban: admin, moderator, <name of your site>, support, info, and anything that can be confused to be related to your site personel.

 

Ya actually to me what you feel is a potential fake profile, just ban it

 

Can anyone advise what are the key points need to be considered while choosing a name.
