I am beginner person in seo. I had seen many different title like 1. XYZ | Online XYZ Product | Cheap Abc 2. XYZ, Online XYZ Product, Cheap Abc 3. XYZ - Online XYZ Product, Cheap Abc all title is correct but i m confused which one title is very important in seo. if any one knows more then please explain me in depth. Friends Thanks in Advance for growing my knowledge in SEO.
I don't see there's any difference between using a comma, dash and vertical line. Anyway, DP is using option 3 and judge yourself how far their progress is.
The meta-title should be heavily focused towards the onpage content. Don'T stuff the title with multiple keywords The title should also be designed for humans. A well formed title can help increase click through rates, assuming you achieved high serp positions.
All three can be used but try the following" <title>Keyword Phrase : LongTail Words - Site Name</title>
Well if you are using comma then it will save your words limit and according to me I always use hyphens it's looks good and clear.
You can use all three types of article. No difference between them but your title should be unique and according to your web page content.
For me, I prefer the first one. Spider will considered the comma as part of the first word. Meaning it's a single whole word if you only used comma. While spider considered the bar as separator.
In title there should be one keyword, difference with other by Underscore (_) & should not follow (?)
As far as Titles... go and Google a single search word for anything you want. Look at the Google results. Do you see how it highlights that search term in the sites and descriptions of each site in the listings? for example if you used the search term: widgets What you'd see is that a listing would have the word widgets in bold. Google seems to place more relevancy on the URL , and then the description next. So that two sites one named everythingproducts.com and widgetswidgetswidgets.com If both sites had about equal inlinks value ..you would notice that widgetswidgetswidgets.com would get a higher SERP. because of the keyword IN-URL Try to place the keyword into your description too at least 3 times. and then have a decent keyword density on that page with that keyword. Use it as the <h1> tags, <h2> and bold <b> tags etc. link from other sites with that keyword as the anchor text = widgets. Try to get high authority and relevant widget sites. Too many SEO peoples don't notice that. Search your keyword - look at your competitors listings and see how the keyword is highlighted/ bold . see how many times its used in the URL , the Title, the description, and their keyword density on that page. check their inlinks and see if they use anchor text for that keyword. if so, how many? When you're competing with big corporate level sites you'll notice a few things. They will most likely be using the keyword in their URL , they wil lhave the keyword at least 2 or 3 times i ntheir title, they will have it 3 or 4 or more times in their description, they will have perfect keyword density on their pages, and they will have average of 100,000 inlinks with the keyword as their anchor text. and while you could put a strategy together to beat them in areas while doing same equivelant in descriptions and page keyword density ...there will be one more thing you have to remember that is very important. The types of sites that those inlinks are coming from. because an inlink/ backlink.. is not just an inlink. example would be if you get a backlink o na free article submission site that you submitted to - even if the PageRank is 2 .. but say your competitor has a backlink coming from Microsoft tutorial page in the body of the text, and not just a comment from a user. If that PR is also a 2 of that MS page.. then here's the problem, your article submission page is viewed nowhere near as 'credible' as the Microsoft page. So, just to try and beat the leverage of that MS page, you might have to get a few thousand links of high PR and relevance ,just to compete and void that competitors MS backlink.
I agree with this statement. Wherever possible it is best to make the title user friendly and informative. It's also better for clickthrough rate. Users who are misleaded by Natural SERPS won't convert or come back in future. I try and use a short descriptive sentence with the main target phrases nearer to the beginning of the sentence. Sometimes where it is not possible to write a unique sentence (i.e. such as product pages) then I would recommend using '|' with automated product phrases imported in. These phrases should tie in with an appropriately rewritten URL and meta description, then content, semantic markup etc...
