Which type of ad performs better

What is the general consensus here? I've got two large rectangle ads on my homepage and a wide tower on all subpages.

Up until today I selected (image ads only) but today I changed that and allow both text ads and rich media.

It makes the site look bad, and almost always shows text ads. but what do you think is better? to leave the text ads or to go back to image only?

It is better to use 336x280

Many will use that to get maximum profits

    errr... That's what I'm using.

my question is do people find they do better allowing both text ads and image ads, or image ads only

no use text ads only. don't use image ads. Why means image ads are dead. Nowadays all are using text ads for maximum profits

I know this is going to go against the general belief, but I think the best performing ads are the one that blend in with your layout.

If your layout isn't suitable for a 768x60 ad, then don't put that in.
