Which tool is the best to chek your backlinks?

Hi, good people

From time to time I try to check my own backlinks.
Currently I use Backlink Checker & Backlink Watch.

But I am not satisfied with both. They show different non consistent results.

So I need your help > What are the tools you use to check your backlinks.

the SEOMoz open site explorer is Fabulosa..... but its free trial has limited features.. give it a try..

also,,you can run a google search for: "www dot name com" -site:www dot name dot com

keep the space between apostrophe and hyphen

also, use the same term and set up a Google alert for it. it will let you know the websites linking to your site. whether these backlinks are do-follow or not, you have to figure it out. use a firefox addon for it.

I use http://www.backlinkwatch.com/ and Yahoo Site Explorer. Keep in mind you will never be able to see all your backlinks.
Actually I'm quite happy that no tool shows each and every backlink. At least competition can't spy on me

I am a fan of using Yahoo Site Explorer.

It seems to be relatively accurate, has some useful features, and is updated daily.

I am not sure you prefer it or not but i always check backlink with yahoo search. I think it has more specific result than any other backlinks checkers

Try iwebtool it's the most accurate and shows the PR of each backlink

 

i check only on yahoo site explorer because i dont have to log in every time

if u wana check it every time u open a site seoquake or search status is best
or else the best is backlinkwatch.com

i just posted my blog ( the one in my signature) to the yahoo site explorer and it says i have 687 inlinks
that sounds like too much
is that bad to have so many??
