That's 100% correct, We need to use just only google adwords tools and google trends for keywords queries otherwise there is no advantage to use SEO Tools.

I don't think, seo tools can give you Traffic and targeted rankings in Search engines for your site.

You can give a try to Submiteaze . I've heard from many people that it is a good one.
I haven't tried it though as I do not use such kind of softwares - you better search for some other people's opinions before trying it !
I am just sharing the info I've heard.

Well i would recommend SEO elite to be the best for me, has worked wonders.
