Which the biggest facenbook or twitter for social network

 

Offcourse Facebook is popular. Look at their Alexa ranks.

 

Both has their way of use. Twitter is popular among fans to check celebrities status while facebook is popular to check friends feed and update.

Of course we could have done the Google search but then we would not have had this opportunity to interact. Facebook is the whole wide world even though Twitter is great for
getting some core moments of a person's life. Facebook keeps making changes which allow better connectivity. Twitter is a bit more hip and quick but even your grandmother is on Facebook.

 

Facebook is definitely more popular, but I like Twitter for its simplicity.

I'd say facebook because its ranked higher!

 

Facebook is MUCH larger...and you usually have closer relationships with your "friends" . Twitter is easier to advertise on, although not that effective IMO

 

Facebook has over 600 million users, while Twitter has nearly 120 million users. So it's pretty obvious that Facebook is far more popular and used in many countries.

However, don't let you be intimitaed by those stats. You should choose between these 2 sites (or pick both) depending on your needs. Twitter is like a new generation if Blogspot, for the bloggers, those who like talking about their lives, trips, etc. and have some readers. Some sort of a 'miniblog', since each of your post can't have more than 140 characters. Facebook, on the other hand, is much more personal and private: that's why you have granular privacy settings (unlike Twitter), notifications, photo albums, etc.

Personally, I prefer Facebook like a billion times. I've tried Twitter and it's pretty spammish and boring, so I deleted my account a few weeks later after I created it.

 

Facebook vs. Twitter (In my opinion)

Facebook is bigger, better, and MUCH more effective. Facebook is getting better with size, Twitter is getting worse with size. I can post to hundreds of Friends on FB and get many responses. I can post the same thing to Twitter and get zero responses.
