another what's best , pc or console thread, great. Its not like you can afford either one anyway, why ask?
I'm going to have to go for consoles. PC is great and all but all the crap with those increasingly stupid security measures developers put in their PC games takes all the fun out of PC gaming. At least with consoles it's usually a case of just put the disc in and play. (Except the PS3 which is starting to force too many installs lately. It can normally take up to an hour to play a new game because of the crappy forced installs.)
I don't play pirated games, it's just that the whole having to be connected to the internet to play them aspect that annoys me. It seems excessively intrusive. I hate it when I have to sign in to play games. I'm not into online gaming so I don't see why I have to register new games for my PC. With the 360 and PS3, I don't have them hooked up to the internet so I can just plug and play. That's the point I was trying to make with the security measures rant. I can see now that it looked like I was torrenting games with the way I came across earlier.
I think it depends on the type of game. FPS I prefer to play PC. Racing/3rd person adventure types games work well on consoles.
Who thinks graphics are better on consoles? You need mental help. How can graphics be better on something where it has ONE graphics setting, and thats...put the disc in and play..got a good tv? great! got an hdmi cord? awesome, here are your graphics. PC: Buy nice video card, upgrade hardware, DX11 oh hay, oh you want to crank up each individual graphic setting? okay go ahead! oh whats that? This game is running on a $3k gaming PC with a $400 graphics card OH yea. Moral of the story: Graphics are better on PC if you have the right hardware. SIMPLE.
I prefer PCs especially if equipped with the right hardware. After all, I can play all games in just one unit. I have experienced shifting from Famicom, to Sega 16-bit, to SNES, to Saturn, to Dreamcast and Gamecube, to PSOne, PS2, and even Handhelds like GBA, and DS in just a click. You can never beat that!
Depends what game... if ur going to play FiFA then of course console but if some racing game or fps then PC
