I just heard that frontpage's coding is of a lower quality than other software's coding. What software do you use?

Can anyone recommend Microsoft Expression Web 3?

Yes, but unfortunately I am not skilled enough to write HTML. I depend on nice software to do it for me ;)

A lot of people will reccommend wordpress for seo, you'll need to use a plugin like platinum seo (free download) or all in one seo pack. Honestly, invest some time in learning html as if used correctly is much more powerful than wordpress or any other cookie cutter software, cheers!

I use Microsoft Expression Web and it produces decent code. However, with all WYSIWYG software it is still advisable to know what good, optimal code should look like. Then you can examine the code the tool produces and optimise it yourself. For example, if you add an image onto a page, you need to understand that the alt tag may be important for SEO and input a good tag value when prompted by Expression Web as Expression Web won't automatically put one in for you.

Anything other than hand-coded HTML is going to be bad for SEO.

Try wordpress, it doesn't beat html off the bat, but it can beat it in the long run because the link juice just sloshes everywhere in wordpress
