Hey everyone, I'm trying to grow a small fashion website (https://aaastudio.nu) and looking for better ways to get organic traffic. Right now I'm testing different platforms like Instagram, Pinterest, Reddit, and TikTok, but it's hard to know where to spend the most time. For those running websites or online stores: Which social platform has worked best for you? Do you focus on one platform, or try to be active everywhere? Would love to hear your experience.
For a fashion site, Pinterest is probably worth the strongest test. A good pin can keep sending traffic longer than an Instagram or TikTok post. TikTok and Instagram are good for attention, but they need constant posting. Reddit can work, but only if it does not look like self-promo.
The best traffic is traffic from search engines. Try to enter keywords relevant to your site's topic in Google, etc. and look at which social networks are in the search engines on the first pages. Promote your website on those networks.
I'd start with Pinterest if I were you. It's not really social media, more like a visual search engine. People go there with intent like planning outfits and shopping. Once you've got some steady traffic, then test TikTok and Reddit.
