The market is full of social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, Youtube, Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr and many more and everyone is dealing in online commerce through one mean or the other. So I would like to know that which social networking platform is the best option for social commerce/eCommerce.

I can say that I had great results with Facebook through Facebook Ads. I like the fact that I have the ability to laser target my audience and I saw that it works like a charm promoting physical products.

All social networks can be good ways to bring in traffic. Facebook and Twitter are probably the 2 most widely used for business.

    Hi Shabnam Malik,

Appreciate your answer. Agree on Facebook but on StumbleUpon I am not agree. StumbleUpon is really good for driving flood of visitors to your website/blog but the traffic is not highly convertible. The conversion rate is very very low. But in Facebook the conversion is pretty good.

Yes, Facebook advertising is very popular now-a-days. On the other hand, I will recommend you to use both facebook and twitter network for social commerce.

Facebook in the first place. After that comes Pinterest and maybe Twitter.

With Facebook you have the options of FB ads, Sponsored Posts and simply just interacting (the last one is free).

Definitely Facebook. G+ has great potential, but it is not that popular yet.

I suppose facebook still has the most of possibilities, but the trends are changing. Twitter is especially popular in the US, while linkedin for instance is focused in many aspects on professional, business approach, so I'd treat is as a niche of sorts.

Facebook and Pinterest. With these social networks, it's easy to make a "store" for your products.
