    I'm active on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook, but I don't use them for marketing purposes. I just socialize with others on those sites -- which is the entire point of social networking.

    there is a diffrence in social bookmark and social media websites .....
    i use facebook, twitter n stumble upon for social media
    i use mixx. delicious. reddit for social bookmarks

    Social bookmarks will get us backlinks and some bookmarking sites gives dofollow backlinks which will help us rank well in Google SERP ranking and increase Page rank.

    I am using digg, diigo, stumbleupon, reddit, delicious, connetea.org, folkd, linkagogo and so on. I got more traffic from digg.

    Social bookmark is Ok on every site. As long as you are active, but try to be active on those that have a nice PR and have a lot of members, after all you are using the social bookmark.
