Which Slideshow Software?

I want to build a 'slideshow' and was wondering what software you would suggest?

Would be nice if it was FREE and without adverts etc.

    Thanks

Are you referring to slide shows as in power point?

I have checked out Slide share and it seems reasonable to work with.

You may try this Slideshow Maker software, it can help you Create your own slideshows with many effects and music to entertain your friends and family. Create personally designed albums, apply various transitions. Burn your slideshow on to DVD. Make it really interesting to watch your photos.. My friends recommend it to me, it's legal and works pretty well.

You don't have much control over the output but animoto.com is quick and easy to use and produces a very professional looking end product.
