Which sites should I target for backlinks?

    I need to figure out a few sites that offer good backlinks for my music review site.

    I'm also considering putting 50 dollars down for someone to market the site.

    There are plenty of good places to build backlinks. Music related forums, websites, create HubPages and Squidoo lenses, list your site on best-reviewer.com, etc.

    I've put most of my favorite linkbuilding tools and sites into one place, mostly for my own benefit, but others can use it. :)

    Sites that is relevant to your niche. Music related blogs, forums and Social media sites are my preference.
    What kind of marketing you want to run for your site in the budget of $50? May be you can find any worker but I suggest for adsense. It's safe for your site and doesn't require any money or you can pay any famous sites related to your own to show ads on their sites.

    Try some social networking to find people into the same music, then check out some social media / forums, start talking to music fans to get a bit of traffic and work on your websites SEO, have you done any keyword research yet?
