    XML sitemap is better for Search Engines.... and .html sitemap is good for visitors... But if you are looking for SEO then XML site map is good.

    Yes, XML sitemaps for search engines, HTML sitemaps for humans however you should try this wordpress plugin if you really have got a WP site because this wp plugin makes both, xml and html sitemaps and it's the best sitemap generator to wordpress.

    html sitemaps are not always necessary I've found. XML Sitemaps are far more valauble and absolutely essential, especially when getting new sections/pages to index quickly.


    you're essentially making google's job easier, and it will thank you for it :)

    Both are classy and good for surfing in the sites.
    HTML and XML is also best in sites. I used both sitemaps in my sites and found result so good for my sites.
    It is such a good tool to find and also for guidance for visitors.

    Both sitemap has their own usage. XML sitemap is useful for the web spiders and HTML sitemap is for users. Using XML sitemap, spider visits on pages listed in the sitemap and index those pages in the search engine index and with the help of html sitemap, user can visit every section of your website and this makes your website navigation easy to use. These days some of website does not use html sitemap as they show all of their links in the footer. e.g. www.expertmagentodevelopers.com

    HTML and XML both sitemaps are important on their places. HTML sitemap is user friendly and XML sitemap is Google Friendly. and for that you can use xml-sitemap.com for make this. Also use sitemap for your mobile website.
