Hi, currently i am running a wallpaper site, using yield ads, high page impressions 132,116 but low revenue just $5.44 for 1141 clicks /day so i think to start a health and fitness site, will it give me more revenue and how can i drive traffic from wallpaper site to my new health site, without loosing visitors to wallpaper sites too.
Health site will probably make more money. You can not drive traffic from wallpaper site to your new health site they're not related.
If you were to host your health site elsewhere (so it's on a different IP...) then a 'backlink' from the wallpaper --> health site will have some value (albeit small...). I wouldn't focus on sending traffic from your wallpaper site since the chances are they're just looking for wallpapers and have no interest in whatever health content may be presented on your new site. Also bear in mind that whilst the health niche is remarkably higher paying than wallpapers and similar niches, for that reason it is also a ton more competitive. Don't expect thousands of clicks anytime soon. Good luck.
It will be MUCH more difficult to get traffic to a health site than your wallpaper site. Which is part of the reason health traffic is worth much more - simple supply and demand.
In which case, the wallpaper one will still probably make more money due to the competition in the health niche.
And by that logic you can never make money in competitive markets. Competition means there is money to make, you shouldn't fear it, you should embrace it.
The health industry has better paying keywords, so I'll go with that one - and why drive traffic using both sites? The sites are un-related - why not go get some links on health sites instead? Or pay for advertising?
You can't answer that question accurately. If his health website gets no traffic, it won't make any money. That's a real possibility unless the guy knows his internet marketing well.
No, he asked: That's like asking what costs more: a car or a truck? The answer completely depends on the other variables. For this guy - I honestly think his wallpaper makes more money than his health website would.
